need a symposium
Jan. 27th, 2005 12:34 pmSo, I feel very adult and modern eating cheese and grapes (from Chile - Uvas NO!) having just purchased my first cell phone. And in honor of this feeling I would like to do something ancient and puerile. I had the obligatory housewarming anime fest and it was great fun, but I want to rattle the bars of this birdcage a little.
Let's have a symposium.
How about as soon as the weather turns clement you and I and all good people go to the park of a Saturday and lay on the grass and feed each other grapes and talk of weighty matters. Philosophy, politics, religion, economics - these subjects are too trivial and have been talked to death besides. Talk to me of space exploration, human cultural development, the worth of life, the newest science and art. Coffee isn't for laying on grass in the sunshine, so we'll have to have something else to drink. What would you like? And which park should host this particular band of allies?
