I dreamt last night that Doug and I and my old high school English class were making a waterbed by filling water balloons and wrapping them in toilet tissue. o_O

It was volunteer work for the poor, and we had to be very careful to arrange the balloons a certain way. Again: o_O

The only reason any of this perturbs my serenity is that it means something. I always know when my dreams are trying to tell me something, i just wish those dream guides worked for me. That's the trouble with having too many paradigms in your head. A dragon can mean twenty different incompatible things: evil, or sex, or wishes, or revenge, or wealth. I know what the waterbed means, it stands for some old friends of mine who had a waterbed. What do the water balloons mean, and the toilet paper, and the G/T English class of '97?

What's going on down in my subconscious?

Okay, the G/T class represents creativity, mine and that of other people around me. And everything I'm doing in my dreams is upside-down and mirror-reversed, so if we're making the bed, the opposite is that the bed is making us, and overturned it is that we are being made into that bed. So we're being made into that particular set of our old friends by ourselves and our creativity. And since we're separate paradigms in my head, we aren't poor anymore. And so we can back off of doing everything with such care and worry.

See, my dreams eventually make sense to me, it just takes being in an odd frame of mind to see it properly.
