Things that have happened in the last 24 hours

Took gonner221 to the liquor store for his maiden liquor purchasing experience.
Bought seventy dollars worth of alcohol. We're now stocked up through New Years.
Dinner at The House of Pink, also known as Taco Cabana. Yumm.
Wore Firefly-appropriate outfits to the Serenity movie, which in all ways rocked. Except for the bit where two people's sentences didn't get finished.
Took a blow to the head from a bathroom stall door. Minor head trauma is pretty normal for me, but it's annoying when it's right at the hairline where every time I push my hair out of my face I'm going to touch it.
Had a friend of a friend who'd only seen a couple eps of Firefly come to the movie, and he thought it was pretty good. Considering how he isn't a geek and has a chronic hypo-enthusiasm condition caused by lack of adrenaline, I'll take that as a sign that it's going to do well among "normal" people, too.
Took people home, went back to gonner221's, discussed movie, life, work, people, stuff.
Drank a bit, but not much - just three or four shots. I may be used to head injury, but I'm not a moron.
I need an Operative icon. Damn.
