Things I have done this week:

gotten a mammogram,

knitted 1/5th of a sweater,

taken care of Ruby's mom for an hour / hour and a half every day,

driven 4 hours to get Giraffe Jester's car part to put in their car (and didn't even get a headache!)

cleaned my living room,

started cleaning the bathroom for the pagan scent-making class that I will be teaching here,

ordered yarn (!!!)

missed an appointment with my psychiatrist and went off of a med I'm not supposed to do that with, (oops)

hung out with K and D for a bit, got spicy sashimi salad, mmmmmmmm

researched clan tartans, codependency, lift chairs and medical devices, and a hundred more stranded colorwork patterns (... someone tell me I don't need to drop $40 on a Norwegian knitting design book?)

did a really depressing card reading for a friend,

& emailed a different friend a thing about the roots of alexithymia, which I might clean up and make into a post on here if anyone is interested in figuring out why talking about feelings is so freaking hard.

I'm feeling guilty, suspicious, and paranoid for no good reason bc of being off my SNRI, now, and probably going to get brain zaps when I go back on it, but I can fucking deal until tomorrow when I go to the re-scheduled shrink appointment to get meds re-upped. I have also been day-drinking, since that is only a thing I can do when I'm not on the meds, and I might as well appreciate having a cheap, effective muscle relaxer while I can use it.

How the heck are y'all doing? Does anybody want me to do a link dump?

OH YEAH THE ZAPS WHEN YOU GO OFF SNRIS ARE THE FUCKING WORST. Flashbacks to when I was on Cymbalta. Boy howdy I hope you don't have to deal with that too long.

Quite curious as to why the clan tartans.

I was talking to a Scottish friend of mine, who is blind, and she had me looking up some tartans and whether my Scottish ancestry had any. Sadly, I do - but most of the tartans for the McCullochs are fugly. *shrugs* I did learn some cool things about the coats of arms, though. Some of those were actually not so bad.
