1. Did you catch COVID-19? If yes, when, and was it bad?
Not yet. Hopefully, post-vaccine, if I get it at all it will be asymptomatic and not transmissible.

2. Did anybody close to you catch the virus, or even die from it?
Several got it and a friend of a friend died of it. His two little girls are not okay.

3. Did you lose your job due to the pandemic or did your work situation change considerably? Home office?
I had to leave work for my own safety, and got a part time job doing server maintenance from home. My home office now has a craft table, so that's nice? But I still would rather none of this had happened.

4. Have you already been vaccinated? If yes, with which vaccine and how did it go?
Yes, Pfizer, and the second shot was a day and a half of aches and fatigue.

5. Has your mental health suffered due to and during the pandemic?
Surprisingly not much? I am used to trauma, and processing it, and had good support during this.

6. How do you judge the performance of your local and national government during the past year?
I live in America, which has been a shitshow. Dallas county had good judges handing down decisions about shutting down, which was surprising - that is, until Abbott and the state government made them stop being sensible by main force.

7. What is the worst memory you will conserve from the past year? What made you angry?
Trump saying it would vanish like a miracle. Trump Lying, and Lying and lying about people literally dying on his watch.

8. And, if there is one, the best memory? What made you happy?
All of the Zoom calls, the Discords, the Slack groups, the chats on all the social medias where we all supported each other and tried to provide love and play and solace for each other. We picked up our collective burdens as one, ad it was lighter for being shared. Solidarity.

9. Do you think we are over the worst period of this pandemic by now?
The WORST of it? Maybe. But it's going to hang around for years because of how it was mismanaged.

10. Is there anything you would have done differently a year ago if you knew what you know now? Did you, knowingly or not, incur big risks to catch the virus?
Nope. We were cautiously paranoid about our risks, so Ghost and I are doing okay about it.

11. What about your body? Lost or gained weight? Illnesses of other kinds? Fitness? Injuries?
I am less fit, and have lost an inch of muscle on my arms and shoulders, which I will have to build back up before I try to go back to massage therapy.

12. Did you lose or gain friends? Keep in contact with those you already had?
No new friends to report, mostly, although I did friend [personal profile] cluegirl over on her facebook. Mostly this year was a fallow year where I let things largely lay dormant and did craft projects.

13. How did you spend your free time? Did you get creative? Learn new stuff? Read a lot? Write a book?
I knitted and crocheted and made sweaters and learned embroidery, and sewed myself a dress with whiskey pockets. Now I am learning to be a better writer and programmer. I can only do this because of how many times I have been traumatized and worked through it before, and I am now somewhat resistant to it. If you did less than me this year then THAT'S A GOOD THING! It means you still have a normal response to trauma and suffering.

14. Do you have children? If yes, how did you manage everything, from homeschooling to having to keep them at home and deal with their desire to meet other kids? Did you have to seek professional help of some kind? How was the school situation in general where you live?
No kids, thankfully.

15. What will be the first thing you will do when it is possible again?
I am going to buy about 5 pounds of chocolate, possibly a chocolate fondue fountain, and maybe 15 lbs of fruit and fixings, and have a chocolate-themed everyone's-birthyday-party. Hug all of my vaccinated friends, and possibly have a giant cuddle pile for everyone who is skin hungry and lonely after this hell year.
