flamingswordGood news! I did the dechallenge-rechallenge trick with the garlic, and nothing happened pain or headache-wise, so I am leaving that in my diet. w00t! GARLIC!
I am now learning how to live on a keto-like diet with no sugar and much lower carbs than I have ever had. Which is basically antithetical to my nature, but we all have to change some time, and at almost 40 I guess it is time to grow up and stop eating like a teenager. I'm not miserable, but it is definitely more of an adventure than I was hoping for, learning how to make low carb breads and finding recipes that I will actually make and eat. I am really glad that we have the instant pot and the stick blender with the food processor attachment. Like, really glad.
Health update: I lost 8 pounds of inflammation and water weight in ten days, and have lost about a pound a week since then. I did not go on this diet for the purpose of weight loss, but since it will potentially make my pants and the lolita dress fit better, it is not unwelcome.
The Exploring Gender - Stage One: Femininity project is going okay. I now have the dress, a petticoat, some jewelry, shoes, and bows for my hair. I just need the shirt and the tights and I am good to go to a meetup and study other people's hyperfeminine presentation. The body language quirks are already starting to come back to me, just from wearing the dress around the house. Tucking the elbows, gesturing with fingers together and keeping the hand soft and gently curved, nodding the head down instead of up. The facial expressions are not coming back as fast, so far all I am remembering is to brighten and widen the eyes, but I am only cueing/remembering intermittently. I need to maybe watch some videos about femininity and study the faces with the sound turned off, so I don't get distracted with other information.
I am gonna scrape the rust off of these skills and maybe even learn new ones. Wish me luck.
