Great concept! Assuming it's also open to people you haven't really talked to, here's mine:

Just today, I went through some job sites and made a Big Spreadsheet of jobs I wanted to apply for. I think this'll help me find a Real Job (aka fulltime and at least loosely related to my degree), which so far has been hindered by me finding the whole process kind of daunting.

If that isn't enough to make it doable, I might want to set up a regular coworking thing with some internet folks. (“Regular” is an important ingredient, if I have to actively set it up in the moment I'll succumb to short-term thinking and not do it.)

…in fact, writing this out has made me realize that I should set up a reminder in a few weeks to evaluate that “if” statement. So I guess you making this post has already helped me a little!

Yay for helping! And I am glad you are looking into work in your field, in a market where that can be tough. But it is worth it in satisfaction, if you can afford to stick with it, or so I hear. (I went to trade school.)

And yeah Job Stuff is generally pretty daunting. Anything we can automate in the process of getting a job should definitely be done.
