flamingswordIf I want a River Song icon that encompasses her badassery, I may have to make it myself. Whoniverse fandom seems to be focusing on her tragic aspects visually, and that will never do.
River speaks to the part of me that recognizes that even my flaws are awesome. She has the same perception of time being a thing that changes you and makes the world look different. She has the weird patience for transitory suckiness and ability to be comfortable being uncomfortable that are the precursor skills for making yourself more badass.
And I need an icon to express monsters, pride, non-standard spacetime, awesomeness, and style: she is those things to me.
