* I need daily spritual practice. If Some People I Know are going to start a teaching circle, I'd better be more ready than I currently am.

* Love isn't all you need. Love can't cure everything: only everything can cure everything. You can't fix a world with anything less complicated than the world itself, because you can't forcibly extract anything from a system this big, only replace one part with a different one that works better. We HAVE love. If that were enough, we'd be there already. We need to reinvent war, bigotry and poverty. The ones we have don't work very well with the current system.

* I miss the hyper-real dreams that I have when I'm depressed. Being a wind-god, running from a team of assassins, or casually pushing myself off a 30 foot ledge to prove that Bryan had superpowers: all were cool, meaningful dreams that resonated through my life.

I dream about flying regularly, but my most recent one involved ending up in some tall trees with a friend on the ground and not being sure I could drop and fly at that moment.
