If we were having coffee right now . . .
Jan. 20th, 2005 03:26 pmI'm eating just-baked pumpkin spice cake and drinking vanilla coffee. I have to admit I'm getting good at this domestic thing even when I'm not supposed to be doing so.
I'm taking a break from buying scrubs (at Grapevine Mills, the Giant Hamster Wheel of Doom), gassing up the car, having lunch with Doug, finalizing the account-keeping format for mah loverly new business, washing the work clothes, and cleaning the mat from the bottom of the trunk. Yet to do today I have to get my direct deposit headed toward my new separate account, update and email my resume to a spa that will be opening in February, bake my mom a custard with the leftover pumpkin, find and compare the costs and services of competing cell phone services, and get Windoze reinstalled on the laptop. So I'm roughly halfway through. I think that's a good excuse for coffee and cake.
But I wish you were here to share them with. Zen Hugs to all.
