If I’m knitting at least 2 rows of the fractal cowl per day, and I have 40 rows left, then I will be done in a maximum of 20 (+5 for emergencies) days, so before school starts February the 19th. Sweet.

Meanwhile I have been knitting one hexipuff a day to make a quilt, and I am currently pretty pleased? Yay. If every mini-skein of the yarn I have in a bunch of colors makes ~2.5 hexi-puffs, then I should have 2.5x42 mini-skeins= ~105 more daily puffs from this bin of tiny yarn. So I won’t run out of yarn until April 24th or thereabouts. Sweet.

If you know of any sport-weight cotton in interesting tonal or variagated colors, do let me know?

I’m tired but my brain won’t shut up. Ugh. Gonna try to sleep anyway, night night.

Not being a knitter (mom was) i had to look up "hexipuff".
It talked about making a blanket of them. Wow!
That's got to be a very warm blanket?

I will absolutely be taking pics of the progress and hopefully remembering to link them here. And since I am currently in New England and moving to Washington state at some point in the next couple years (🤞) then I figure I’ll need a warm lap blanket for the couch. It’s going to be heavy and warm and those are always very soothing qualities in a blanket.
