Failure to Museum

This year I was going to go to the Dallas Museum of Art by myself and start going to outdoor cafes and basically be covid-cautious while not being a recluse. That … didn’t happen. I kept putting things off this spring and by the summer I was in full blown “fuck spending time by myself, I need my people” mode due to the unexpressed knowledge that I might need to leave Ghost and get a divorce to get away from Texas’ burgeoning fascism.
So then I went to the DMA withrubyredrose and ot_atma and saw a bunch of Impressionist works. There was a lot of seeing gardens and arboretums (arboreta?) and eating good takeout. I will have to learn to do fun stuff by myself this next year, but I have time to learn this nonessential skill.
