Languishing and a headache

I have a headache and PMS, and have run out of fucks to give on the sweater, gdi. So I am laying in bed making a friend some coffee cozies for her cups and mugs. Maybe tomorrow I will give enough of a crap to work on the sweater some more. If not I’m going to move on to making the slittens sized for my friend imoveritanddone and just shove the sweater in a tote bag so I don’t have to look at it until I find enough fucks to give about it to finish it.

I should do more intentional grieving and feelings-naming exercises today, if this headache ever goes away. Until then I will be crocheting a coffee cozy out of fingering weight yarn. 🧶 This may take all day. Meh.

What are slittens? I tried searching the term, but all the results seem to be kittens with sloth faces, haha.

Mittens with a slit in them so that you can wear them as either fingerless gloves, or as Autumn-weight mittens that have a hole for the palm sweat to escape. My friend nyyki named them, because she loves portmanteaus.

Oh, that makes sense! I've had gloves like that before, but had never heard the portmanteau. Now I know why. It's a good name :)
