A British economist has received permission from pTerry's estate to name her poverty and inflation metric the “Vimes Boots Index”. They say a man's not dead as long as his name's still spoken. GNU Terry Pratchett.

In your own space, post your pictures of your fandom scavenger hunt results. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Look around your current space, whether digital or brick-n-mortar. Post a pic or description of:
1. a fannish item: I have a print of Orc Nouveau II by Ursula Vernon hanging on my entertainment center. Yes, it has tiddies and is posted behind a lock, because the internet is now supposed to be child-safe, unlike schools and the rest of the world that children grow up in.
2. something round: I have a spherical aerophyte pot hanging up above my computer ... even though it has nothing in it, and never has.
3. something that is your favorite color: Mazarine butterflies are basically the same color as the TARDIS. I should really start watching Who again.
4. the last game you played (video, phone, table top, etc.): I ♥ Hue! on iPhone.
5. a book you are currently reading: I have a stack. Because of course I do.
6. album art of the first song that comes up on shuffle: It Can't Rain All The Time by Jane Siberry from The Crow OST
7. the last movie you watched: Steven Universe: The Movie!
8. TV show you're currently watching: either Steven Universe season 6, still on The Witcher, or Doom Patrol.
9. the homescreen, lockscreen, or desktop wallpaper from your device: is in the background of the books on my desk.

Date: 2022-01-29 02:40 am (UTC)I meant the economist using the Vimes Boots Index as a name is beautiful (and was echoing the "GNU Terry Pratchett" in the spirit of clacks operators passing the name along :)
And yeah, same on the tearing up.
