Where is all the positive psychology for the neurodiverse? Why are all the studies about pathology instead of what we are trading those dysfunctions for? I have reading and visual retention superpowers and lots of ND folks I know have similar stuff: why do none of the researchers want to study that?

(Also, my brain has too many tabs open.)
(Again.)

I have speed reading superpowers, though long COVID borked this up and I now read way less often than I used to.

I'm on the fence about whether my I-don't-know-whether-I-can-call-this-hypergraphia-or-not is linked to my OCD or my autism/ADHD, but I have over three million words on A03 and still going and I've been on A03 since 2016 so that's three million words in five years.

You're right that I almost never see ND positive psychology. While I appreciate knowing that things like noise sensitivity and being very particular about food/clothing/etc textures and this and that weird thing are actually part of the ND package, I'd love to see more research on the superpowers, beyond people like Daniel Tammet who can speak umpteen languages.
