terriblelynne asks,
Aug. 27th, 2004 07:01 pmFrom Terriblelynne, rules on interviewing:
1. Leave a comment saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I'll reply and give you five questions to answer.
3. You'll update your LJ with the five questions answered.
4. You'll include this explanation.
5. You ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed. And it just keeps going, and going, and going...
From Terriblelynne: interview questions:
1) Recommend me a book, and tell me why.
2) You've had a crap day. What do you do to make yourself feel better?
3) You have your ideal profession. What is it?
4) You have your ideal love/partnership/romantic relationship dynamic. What is it?
5) Do ya think I'm sexy? *smirk*
my reply:
1. book: For you? You'd probably get the most out of _God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater_ by Kurt Vonnegut. It deals with finding new ways to have love and compassion for the human condition. And it would help you understand me, I think; you would see a bit of it in how I relate to people because they need it even if they don't want to deserve it.
2. bad day: Chocolate, caffeine, and dancing around the living room in my underwear, in that order. I've been drinking coffee since I was tall enough to reach the counter, and sometimes my brain doesn't work quite right without caffeination. And then dance to bad old pop music until I'm reeling and punch-drunk from the oxygen debt. It's more effective than alcohol.
3. doubleplusgood job: Medical massage isn't something I'll really be qualified for until another 300 hours of schooling and lots of interning, but I really like fixing things with my hands. And I like taking cranky, prickly people and making them non-verbal. Getting people to shut up was never one of my talents until I learned that there are things communicable by touch that words can't get at. It makes me feel invincible.
4. significant otherhood: I have several workable paradigms. It all depends on how many people I'm fitting into my heart, and how well they get along. I'm currently running the 1 boy/1 girl + options software package. But I'm pretty mutable.
5. sexiness: Juniper, you are sexy. It doesn't require thought, it's entirely reflexive. You have this sultry smile and a way of looking sideways at people like you're picturing them in duct tape. And you smell good.
Okay, people, who wants to be interviewed?
