• Have you eaten / hydrated / moved / connected with someone recently?
• How does your body feel? Are you holding tension anywhere?
• What needs do you have that are not being met yet?
• Name 1 good thing that happened today, 2 people who brightened your week, and 3 things that you found funny this month.

My response
Date: 2021-03-30 12:19 am (UTC)The burdens that I am carrying are anxiety about the pandemic; anxiety about fitting socially into a world that is designed for neurotypical people; disappointment about my body and it’s pain and disability; disappointment and anger at a society that is built to disadvantage me and people I care about and others who have done nothing to deserve being put at a disadvantage; disappointment in my own brain for not learning Python as quickly as I learned Latin; sadness about my family and the people who I can’t keep in touch with for ideological reasons.
I have eaten, hydrated, and moved, and I am scheduled to connect to people at 8pm.
My body hurts it’s normal amount plus some low back pain from doing an unwise thing, bending over sewing for too long. I am holding tension in my jaw and across my shoulders.
My unmet needs are a need to hug all of my friends in person, to have a place of my own where I can paint the walls, and to travel to places that have beautiful things without dying or endangering anyone.
Today some of my friends on discord had a pun competition that made me smile. Will and Daniel had the most inventive puns, which brightened my week. And that was at least 5 thing that I found funny. I am grateful to have humorous friends.
And now I have a snoring cat in the cat tree above the couch. It is adorable. I hope your lives are equally full of good things.
