Been pretty busy. Sort of lost most of my article adjectives.
The plans for the next week are pretty packed, too. Yesterday was my only real day off for what may be a long while. It was well spent, except for the hour at the laundromat washing clothes only to learn that the dryers had no heat. I'm thinking of paying to have my laundry done for the next two weeks, just because I don't have time or inclination to. And I seem to have bad laundry luck this year. But I have good friend luck. So it all comes out even.

[livejournal.com profile] xenoix_13 and I were talking last night and one subject in particular got me thinking. One of the more backward things about humans is fear. When we know who we are and aren't afraid of our own power, we become scarier than the things we fear, and those things stop happening to us as much. But those who live in fear attract the things they try to avoid. So it's mostly only people who fear who have anything to fear. So I'm officially bored of fear. Taking my toys and going home, stupid game, not gonna play no more.

I'm at my mom's right now and I can smell the brownies baking for the second day in a row. My adopted-aunt-cum-friend-of-the-family Kathy is here on business and being a domestic goddess. The smell is driving me insane with green-eyed chocolate frenzy.
I like my mom's house, and I've discovered something about this area: most of my life I've lived within a mile of the ley line forming next to Valley View Road. I want to move back near here, where all the free energy is. Hey: you who own a house: what was the worst mistake you made when buying it? I want to buy a house next year, and I'm going to need lots of info.

Fear calling trouble to it is also referred to as "Rabbit Medicine," i.e.:

"Oh, no! Mister Hawk, please don't swoop down and eat me..."
......
............
*ahem* "I said, 'MISTER HAWK! PLEASE DON'T SWOOP DOWN AND..."

You get the idea.

Also, be forewarned: Property taxes in Irving are an absolute nightmare. I believe they have one of the highest rates in the area, and will re-evaluate the worth of your home to drive them even higher. Something to consider.

We're going to conspire to make our house worthless-looking from the outside. So maybe that will fend off some of the taxes.
