Too lazy to do this in a separate post
Date: 2019-11-25 10:06 pm (UTC)Components:
1. Worthiness: I work to make the world not suck more because I am in it.
2. Respectability: I am a person and all people deserve respect.
3. For years, I have treated others with respect, and it is not an undue burden to expect the same basic decency.
Belief: People don't need to be meaningful to have value.
Components:
1. Meaning: Deciding on a goal or a meaning for your whole life to have can feel limiting, and it should not be required for people to limit themselves that way.
2. Value: There are lots of different kinds of value, not all of which mean anything to any given person.
3. Children don't have meanings of their own yet, but they are still valuable.
Belief: I am autistic.
Components:
1. I have longstanding disordered sensory processing malfunctions.
2. I have persistent problems navigating complex social environments in real time, despite decades of study and practice.
3. If I would not expect anyone else with my difficulties to navigate social environments smoothly, then it is unfair of me to expect it of myself or to accept the prejudices of others who do expect that of me.
Wolfenoot was great, but the lingering joint pain from the carbohydrate/inflammation hangover is painful. Also, I just got my flu shot yesterday, so my left shoulder hurts.
