Okay, so some of kinks have to do with explicit consent and healthy, mature relationship dynamics. So what I ship are

1. Natasha Romanoff/Pepper Potts

They are such consummate professionals, which you don't get without having a passionate nature. And I want to see two passionate natures turned on each other, with all of the sharp focus that implies.

I may have a mild kink about people with warm hands, so Extremis!Pepper can push my buttons whenever she wants. And since I identify with traumatized characters, I have projected this kink onto the Black Widow, who is a hedge maze full of tigers.

They would just be so great together? They are both so great at reading people that they could pass the Broccoli Test with flying colors, and they care deeply about not hurting anyone by accident, so they would have very few opportunities for resentment based arguments to build up.

2. Darcy Lewis/Natasha Romanoff

If you characterize Natasha as someone who likes dancing on tightropes and playing parkour-tag in the rain, then she would need someone uninhibited and emotionally risky, which is one of the more fun Darcyland tropes.

3. Hermione Granger/Luna Lovegood

Complexity and having more emotional depth than a teaspoon? Yes plz.

Neither one would shy away from having conversations about their insecurities, so you know they would be emotionally healthy together.

Ugh. Ron? Really, JK, you couldn't put my girl with someone who could maybe, I dunno, keep up with her? Pay attention to what was actually going on with her over their own insecurities? *sigh*

4. Blake Belladonna/Yang Xiao Long

Neither one would waste their time pursuing someone who did not respect them.

I just think they deserved more than they were getting at the end of season 3, and I need to see the newer stuff, but I'm afraid that they fucked up my girls even more.

5. Eleanor/Tahani

Ship of Fools! They dont even want to like each other but they cant help it. Tropes for days!

Not the healthiest dynamic, but weirdly honest? And evolving towards a place where they could love each other better, and be better to each other as people.

As someone who discovered my bisexuality and ability to be a person way later than a lot of my peers, I maybe over-identify with Eleanor. Also, I like to come up with ridiculous answers to ethics questions, too. It's a thing! I can't help it, my brain just does that sometimes.

So I first encountered this ship here:

"Clint and Natasha in various and sundry threesomes. I'd like to write a more elegant summary for the series, but really, it's just what it says on the label. ;)

And I really liked it, so I went looking for more. None of the other authors write the characters and their relationship quite how I see them working out, though.

I've got Natasha/Pepper on docket for a WIP, but I've produced Laura Barton/Bobbi Morse (sorta on the fanon that a secret sister makes more sense than a secret wife combined with AoS substituting Lance Hunter for Clint Barton as regards Mockingbird.
