So this morning on my way to the doctor, my brain said, "this is stressful, let's skip it." And that is not a thing my brain should be doing with important doctor visits, but I have been doing the Name Your Thoughts mindfulness meditation lately, and I think it is making my mind better at being a mind in the presence of a failsome brain, because I spotted it immediately.
In circumstances like these I'm supposed to increase my dosages. I have therefore doubled up on the antipsychotic meds today. We'll see how that does.
I think I may have to start doing the mindfulness meditations every day. They are making a real difference in my ability to notice myself.
