It has been a day of ups and downs. The AC in my car is broken, so I drove to Irving to check out an apartment before work in the 95° degree heat. Which in the un-conditioned car was well over 100°, so boo. Work was full of people being late and not showing up, so I'm going to be short on finances unless I pick up a Sunday shift, which I might.

During my lunch hour I called all the places on my spreadsheet of possible apartment complexes to live in and set up viewings for tomorrow which I may do, just in case. BUT THEN! I got an email from the Marbletree, where we originally wanted to live but didn't jump on the 1st floor opening fast enough, saying that the 1st floor apartment had opened back up. Yessss! *fist pump of extra yes*

Tomorrow is going to storm, and the high is only going to be 85°, so the car AC being broken is not going to be a problem running errands. Also: lovely weather? Yes, please!

And now I am feeding Dormition pieces of fish, because I want her to miss me like I am going to miss her. Favorite kitten. So in all, things are looking up.
