daily life - totally skipable
Feb. 24th, 2005 08:49 amI got the job at the day spa in Carrollton, but it doesn't start 'till the first of next month. That's cool with me. A few last, precious days of lazing about.
Heh.
I have to type up four documents today, go to Bed, Bath, & Beyond, come back to Irving and have lunch with Doug, go talk to the senior therapist at the spa and pick her brains, and decide what sort of dish (and buy the ingredients to prepare it) to take to coven this weekend for Joe's Cuchulain ritual. In which I am supposed to play the Morrigan. Maybe I should look her up. Yeah, that's on the to-do list, too.
I plan on buying several things this year including a washer/dryer set and a used laptop to carry around with me for client files. But I'm going to need to plan those out and that will mean having financial data that I don't have yet. So I need to go through my extended to-do list today and write reminders to myself in my calendar on days when I will have the resources to accomplish those things. I have about six different lists of things to do: today, this week, in the not-too-distant future, for fun, with my life. I've become a planner. When did that start happening? Jeez.

Congratulations on the (steady) employment. Hope that it is more fun than expected!
Have a good circle, and please refrain from the good ol' CuChulain traditions like beheadings, killing the bards, and the ever-popular "battle warp."
