So, Gerard Way won an Eisner for The Umbrella Academy. :D I am made of happy.

And nobody told me Joss Whedon was doing a free online comic! WTH, people! It's called SUGARSHOCK. Can you guess what I'll be doing tomorrow?

If you guessed going dancing and reading that this weekend when I can burn through all of it without blinking, you were correct! We'll be at Thoth downtown, and it's a bit less goth/industrial than our usual. Sadly there can be no dressing up like a candy kid or using break-dance moves, but I think I'll survive. If I have a terrible time, blame Blue. Or come along and keep my night interesting? You are always welcome.

In other news, I'm having some dad-issues at the mo'. Does anyone else have a parent who's an alcoholic? Call me?

Uselessly celebrate with me GeeWay winning comics top award this year! It is a big frakkin' deal in the geek world!
It also means that he may soon get invited to conventions, which considering how super-dorky they are may eventually mean MCR playing at one of the big cons down here, which would rock my socks off like you would not believe.

Here's hoping. Now I gotta go to work. :(
