So, my mp4 player died today . . . what kind do you have, and how well do you like the functionality? I'm in the market, as it were. *smiles drunkenly* The stomach pains are mostly gone, but sense of smell has not returned. It may be a zinc deficiency, so I'll be taking a bunch of vitamins tonight.

I don't think I have yet shared the links for the week, my bad!
Apparently having acceptance from a culture that understands you causes less suicide. Duh, guys. Seriously.
Recent article on homosexuality as an advantageous genetic adaptation and other current theories. Evolutionary biology is my DRUG you guys. It takes me to my happy place where I can see my way clear to having faith in humanity.
If DJing gave you godlike powers then my friends wouldn't have cashflow problems.
Disturbing, unsafe photographs of your childhood fears.

And finally:How Google's internet is making the scientific method obsolete.

Well, I rather like my iPod, though I don't have to deal with iTunes like you would. While the program is not difficult or particularly annoying (and, indeed sometimes even helpful when managing your iPod itself), I find I prefer the Linux method of simply mounting the device as an external drive with drag-&-drop functionality.

I noticed how they didn't mention Venter's "junk DNA" sequencing shortcut and how environmental factors impacting trait inheritance, discovered by model-method researchers, shot his team in the foot on that.

Also, I take severe exception to the line, "Venter has advanced biology more than anyone else of his generation."

That is not backed up, and I don't think it's good journalism. I feel like it reduces the article to a highlight of an interesting technique that's going to compete with other methods, not replace method altogether.

You don't own a copyright on inebriation, dude!

And by the way: YOUR MOM!

The copy-right office is still out on that one.
... BTW, having you been having weird dreams about me lately?

I have been having all kinds of crazy dreams, but sadly not with anyone in them that I know.

It'll surprise you not one bit that I left a long, articulate, and supportive review of Hoffine's photos on the art blog. 5 years of art training CAN come in handy, it would seem.

Some of the people that commented on that blog are boorish, suburban-ensconced troglodytes, however. ^^;

And as for SPIN... that was the second video you've posted this week that was made of 100% undiluted win. Bravo.

*bows*
No applause, folks, just throw money!

Spin was linked to me by Bryan, whom you still need to meet properly. I should throw a party specifically for the purpose of mixing all my gamers together.
