Today smells like Hinoki wood oil and wool and frost.

I need to find someone else who is a slow writer to be an accountability buddy and keep me on track for a WIP, but I am not sure who to even ask about that, since everyone else I know who writes go on the long tears of writing and doesn’t write like, 200 words a week.

And I ache right now, so I’m not going to do much about that tonight.

But seriously … the annual hardship of having to describe my accomplishments and strengths. It’s not like I’m the only person who hates it - actually, I’ve never met anyone who enjoys the process - but I procrastinated and did it at the eleventh hour and the stuff I came up with just *flowed*. It was awesome.

And then all weekend I’ve thought about advancing the little plot that I’m trying to work on, and I can’t put two words together. Blah.

OH GOD I hate the "what are your strengths" question SO MUCH. I like... cheese? I'm queer? I... I don't even know how to answer this. :P

-pat pat pat- Your brain might need a rest for a few days after all of that. Which I know isn't really comforting [and I'm telling myself this after last week's editing hell] and it's frustrating when you want to write stuff and can't. But I believe in you.
