In re: last post - eyes are way better today. When I go to the rheumatologist, I'm making them re-test me for Sjogrens, because the last guy wasn't sure I "really" had it since I only had one out of the three autoimmune antibody markers for it. But I really don't feel like saying "oh, snap, vindicated!" about this. I kind of want to cry, even if my body doesn't tend to do that very easily these days.
Here, have some more more depressing-ass news about new COVID variants.
Due to differences in vaccination rates, more Republicans died before the midterms than Democrats - vindicating but still hella sad. Maybe tell your MAGA fam-o about this and see if they will get their jabs just to try to defeat you politically? đ That may be the only way to get them to stop drinking the Kool-Ade.
A fabric/craft/yarn store that accepts donations from your arthritic crafty friend and people's estates etc. and then sells them for cheap: Swansonâs Fabrics will be posting up a bunch of new yarn and stuff on Thursdays. Their mission is to keep craft goods out of landfills by passing the possessions of the old on to the young, the way old craft guilds used to do, but with just enough money to keep their business afloat. $3 for a ball of natural-fiber yarn? $2 for acrylic? >.> I may need to keep away from that place for about six months.
I was listening recently to the We Can Do Hard Things podcast "How To Make Wrongs Right with Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg" and then I found out that one of my IRL friends probably financially abused his ex-wife, so now I want to go through the whole process, or even the modern 5-step apology process, to make sure he knows where his fuck-up was located within his own psyche and that he is working on it.
In doing so, I am discovering that I would really like this process to be adopted by ... every person in a position of power, all billionaires, the US government, every other government, and more locally: every member of my family that owes me an apology. Which is a lot of them. I am ready for them to publicly acknowledge their wrongdoing and begin to work on themselves. I want to be apologized to. Not even so that we can all heal these divides, although that would be nice, just so that they don't bring the same social fallacies into other relationships and hurt any more people.

And I'm surprised to know that Paxaloid decreases your risk more than vaccination does; I'm going to try to get it if I get infected, even though I'm neither 60+ nor obese.
