We've given up on buying a house until next year. We want [livejournal.com profile] ancestral_tone's house, only a few hundred miles closer. Urban camoflage would be a good thing. Either a house hidden from the world under a layer of street grime and chipping paint or a house where you have a hard time remembering if you're inside or outside. I'd like a house where nothing was formal, where the pictures on the walls weren't hung but painted there.

A dream of mine I've had for years if I ever have a home, is to invite my artist friends over, and give them each a room to decorate, and relatively free creative rein and supplies to do so.

lovely.

See the great thing about having an apartment is that you don't have to mow or water your yard! If the plants outside die its not your fault normaly! LOL *hugs*

Hee hee!!! I really like my pad at The Compound. Chipped, nasty yard, rocks and broken glass everywhere, but inside homey cave-like goodness! Urban camouflage is a must. I like austin better, tho : )

I've been trying to get my living room painted scarlet/blood red, and I keep meaning to invite my artist friends over and let each one of them paint a side of a door (or more, if they wish.)

I'll totally have you over for that pardie!
