Oh, yeah. Pulling all-nighters working on my college degree. No wonder I missed most of it.

In retrospect, though, Tubthumper by Chumbawamba is actually quite a good album (shame about their follow-up work, though.)

Yeah, yeah, you're so out of the loop. You probably legally own more music than I've stolen off Napster. And that's saying something.

Back in college I would download music while doing my chem homework. 56k modems and downloading music didn't work too well, but I had a LOT of homework, so most of the music I have is ill-gotten. And from a later period than the music I'm supposed to be familiar with. And entirely obscure. You've probably heard of Alpha Team and Astronaut Wife, but that's because you like obscure stuff, too. Like DangerMouse. And there's this vast populus who just quirk an eyebrow at you if you mention liking things they've never heard of, like you're trying to show off and be pretentious, when you're just trying to hook them up with stuff that's better than the hospital-jello flavored radio music (and show off).
I should start burning people CD's of weird stuff again.
