So busy, and still so much to do
Oct. 30th, 2024 09:24 pmSorry for the long posting delay, folks. And for the needing to catch up on people’s journals … like, desperately. I have been busy and it looks like that trend is only going to continue til mid-December. I am making a few roller bottles of anti-inflammatory oil for some folks who need it, and knitting some warm thrummed booties now that the duster is done and dusted (heh). Pics bc it happened.
I am doing physically okay, mentally a bit overwhelmed, emotionally more overwhelmed than that. I know I’m doing the right thing for myself, but factions of the US trying to burn democracy to the ground are only part of my problem, and that is already enough to need more anxiety meds. It’s okay, tho, my psych renewed my script for Atarax, which is both calming me and helping my allergies. Yay for that?
Tomorrow I’m going to the tax assessors office to transfer my car title into my name alone, picking up an order from Home Depot for another set of the anti-Sun goggles that I require, and buying enough combined Covid/flu tests that I will have a test enough to take every day. Of the upcoming trip.
Bc next month I will be visiting friends in Seattle in the first real vacation I’ve had in a while. We’ll see if I can stand up to the temperature and pressure shifts of a Pacific Northwest rainy season, I guess. I have purchased snow pants and heated socks to try out on this trip.
