flamingsword: “in my defense, I was left unsupervised” (Default)
Alarm clocks are like shrill younger siblings who are a bit too enthusiastic about getting you out of bed. I would like to apologize on behalf of all sibs who ever delighted in ripping the blankets off and jumping on the bed. I didn't know what it was like.

The temperature difference between this room and the rest of the apartment when the door is shut is enough that it being below freezing last night means that it might be 60 degrees in my room. There's no kind of incentive to get out of bed (warm fuzzy blankets) to set my feet on a cold floor and wake up.

Who wants to build blanket forts and hide from the world today?
