Jan. 12th, 2009 03:38 pmIt occurs to me that I'm good at bad things. I'm not sure how I came to being a good person while knowing the basics of housebreaking, pickpocketry, pranking, sneaking about, manipulation, and enough about forensics to get away with murder. But I do, and I did.
I also know things that nobody should ever need to know: how to make feelings not matter, how to function in the absence of hope, how to ignore the entire concept of 'deserve' and still function socially. We have unexpected talents lurking below the tideline, like S.E.A.L.S. in our psychic oceans. I know some of yours, but not all. :)
Is it odd that I look forward to possibly unpleasnt surprises?
