Happy Earth Day
Apr. 22nd, 2006 10:02 pmProblem: dry store-bought chocolate cookies. Resource: bars of warped, sun-melted chocolate. Solution: Chocolate-dipped chocolate cookies. I am so glad to have a brain. It does neat things like solve my problems for me.
http://www.librarything.com/ is a cool thing on which I will be spending a lot of time, most likely. Mmm. Literary geeking. Come on in, y'all, the paper's fine. Also, because you guys get first crack at swaps, I'm wanting to get rid of some antique books as follows:
Two People by A. A. Milne (pub. 1931 by E.P. Dutton & Company)
King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table edited by Sidney Lanier (pub. 1950 by Grosset & Dunlap)
Kim by Rudyard Kipling and Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott (International Collectors Library editions - good-looking but only 20 yrs. old)
Also: my brain has been infected. I'm going to start translating netspeak into Latin, badly, and iconning it. Interested parties please comment, all suggestions welcome.
