Feb. 19th, 2007 10:10 pmIt occurs to me that I own several books that I have read two thirds of and put down in either frustration or disinterest. Spring cleaning will require sorting these books into two piles and taking one pile to Half-Price books. The other pile eventually needs to get read the rest of the way.
And then I need to recall why I bought the books that I didn't read and see if there's some unifying theme. Am I relying too much on other people's opinion in this matter? Is this a problem that needs fixing (implying an underlying fault) or just an annoying family trait of habitually buying more books that you're reasonably going to enjoy? I'll figure it out when I get there.
I miss Stargate: Atlantis. I cannot believe the Scifi Channel is delaying the second half of the season 'til April. Dammit, people!! The geeks demand our snark and lame, unbelievable plots. And David Hewlett. He is our King.
