Meow. Most of this post will be medical whining.
So I have been trying out a blood pressure medication for the POTS, and it was going so well ... at first. And then we raised the dose, and I started having anxiety, tension headaches, and more muscle aches. So I went back down to a half dose, and so far no headache today? Many fingers are crossed.
The headaches have a weird side effect of my not being able to remember things very well, so last week feels like yesterday, a bunch of chores did not get done, and I did not remember to check in on some friends for like 6 days who are going through a rough breakup. And they are fine, but I still feel like I dropped the ball bc of my useless potato of a body and it's freaking issues. Also, because of the higher pain levels my mental health has been doing a bit less well. Boo.
Yesterday, I went to see
otatma and
rubyredro5e who are my social distancing buddies and basically the only people I see other than Ghost and Mom. The visit went well. New soft piano music was discovered, we baked keto cookies of great deliciousness. Many hugs were had, and a half a cardigan was quasi-tried-on and seems to fit.
The cropped cardigan I bodged together the pattern for is working up quite well and I am thinking of doing a short vlog on youtube to catch up with all of the facebook friends who need to see faces and hear voices to feel connected. I am still trying to get more of the gentle exercise that is recommended, so mostly I have been dancing or getting on the stationary bike when my pain levels are not high. Which I should go do now.
