It’s been a minute

I have been feeling mostly neutral this week, because all of my emotional bandwidth is being taken up in background processes, so I have mostly been trying to stay away from the internet this week after I commented something accidentally offensive on someone else’s post. 🤦 Brains, and their lack of external memory backups. Such a design flaw.
I am doing okay, we are in couples counseling, we’re going to try to not get divorced, but won’t really be making decisions about our relationship and what it will be/mean going forward for a while yet. If I read your stuff anytime soon and all you get is a heart emoji comment, just take it as read that I don’t know how to/trust myself to react in a way that is fully sensitive and up to my usual standard of care about y’all.

Sometimes when someone steps on another's toes, they don't realize the toes/trigger was there, doubly so if Stuff Is Going On and the stress is higher than usual. I appreciate the care and concern with the emoji until you feel your way around boundaries.
