A party, and the post-party pensives

I am lying in bed with microwaved rice booties, which are basically a miracle for my Reynaud’s, and trying to synthesize the large information intake from Wednesday while I recover from hosting a small gathering last night for people who were in from out of town. It was good, but I used up the whole spoon drawer yesterday, and only got half the usual number of spoons back sleeping last night. Which happens sometimes. There is nothing for that but rest.

I am wondering if I can find Ghost a visual timer program for Mac that suits his needs, or if we need to buy him a physical, concrete clock to accompany his tasks. This may be a question I need to actually ask him in my out-loud voice, though. But I have heard good things about visual timers for taking breaks and task switching, and I think it might be reasonable to try one here.

I have plans for the “keep the spark alive” romance plan, and will have to put those into practice today. Wish me luck.

I also keep smelling my wrists, which have Skylar perfumes Autumn Cashmere and Gilded Woods on them, because my gift for myself for Yule got here this morning. Delicious.
