I am the Geminiest of them all.

This weekend has been one of great interest and variety.

Thursday and Friday were spent preparing, sleeping, and baking. So we got up at one in the morning Saturday and got on the road and got to the hotel in Austin at six thirty. When we got there, the lobby was completly empty except for my friend Yvonne, who let us crash in her comfy room and we got to sleep in luxury for the few hours before the tests. I got up, coffeed, bathed, dressed, registered, realized I didn't have the set of sheets I thought I'd brought and had to borrow some from another classmate, Pina, who is the sweetest Indian lady EVER! While we were waiting I got to chill and go over a comic script with my friend Sandy, former manager of Coyote Ugly of Deep Ellum. She thought it was cool-sounding and funny, so I'm a happy girl.

As to the testing, well, let's just say that I rock and don't have to pretend to be insecure. I'm just glad it's over with.

From there we got to spend about 20 hours with [livejournal.com profile] ancestral_tone who is . . . the words 'happy' and 'puppies' keep springing to mind. I wonder why? These hours of amused and amazed were kicked off with excellent coffee and then sushi. I will love Volcano Rolls forever on behalf of Japan Ichiban. You can tell that the restaurant's owners love the guy you're with when they bring free stuff to your table not once but three times. Oh, yes, sushi is love.

After going to a grocery store for OJ and Promise Land Vanilla Milk we went back to the House of Hidden Wonders. It doesn't look like much from outside, but it is several varieties of wonderful on the inside. Add one massage, hours of conversation, cookies, and some BLTC fun and that was my Saturday.

So mote it FUN!

Congrats again! I recall that the celebration-y-ness was very smile-inducing. Speaking of, how are your cheeks?

Ichiban is NUMBER ONE!. I am a slave to their Volcano Rolls. Sushi is food sex. Sushi is love =D

BTW, Passion Oscillation has been my playlist for.. well.. since you left.. lol

House of Hidden Wonders what a damn fine name... when some friends of mine lived next door, we called the area collectively "the compound". I think a new name has been born!

/much love

Apparently my smiling muscles were up for the job. Your CD's might have been on my playlist if Xenoix hadn't taken them to work and *hoarded* them like the evil little gollum he turns into when cool new things are presented. But I'm stealing them back tonight. *eg* Zen Hugs.
