I think forgiveness completely without blame is pointless. I think we should acknowledge that things were more than foolish- they were greedy. All the more reason we should forgive them, and they should forgive themselves... but denial leaves us nowhere, divorced from reality. I know the difference must seem small, but it's important to me. To me, foolishness by itself implies ignorance and even innocence.
