I don't think we are all "bad" at it, just imperfect. We enjoy the good times, overcome the problems, and love grows deeper with each apparent example of loyalty, trust, and trustworthiness. We feed it with fun, friendship, and the occasional thoughtful surprise. Love is a great thing, and I'm not given to cynical representations of it, though I have been hurt very badly at times.

I don't see the why on breaking this down and analyzing the smallest bits. Some things just are.
